Ceramic Fiber

1. Ceramic Fiber Blanket

Ceramic Fiber Blanket – presents unparalleledrefractories and thermal insulationdue to its long spun fiber needling technique.  These blankets offer superior insulating performance, flexibility and resilience.  These blankets are unaffected by most chemicals (except hydrofluoric & phosphoric acid and concentrated alkali).  Thermal and physical properties are retained after drying following wetting by oil, steam or water.  These blankets are c ompletely inorganic, so there are no fumes when heating for the first time

Features :

1.High tensile strength

2. Thermal shock resistance

3.Good resiliency with low heat storage

4. Good sound absorption

5.Low shrinkage and thermal conductivity

Typical Application

1.Annealing furnaces

2. Furnace door lining and seals

3.Soaking pit covers and seals

Classification of Temperature :   Temperature between 1000°C – 1600°C

2. Ceramic Fiber Paper

Centralwool Ceramic Fiber Paper

Blending with high quality alumina-silica fibers and binders, additives, the ceramic fiber paper is proved to be a flexible and uniform sheet in handling heat treatment.  Some advantages including low shrinkage, good strength, and low thermal conductivity contribute to the wide applications of the paper.  Our paper has a highly uniform structure due to its well-controlled weight and thickness, assuring homogeneous themal conductivity and a clean, smooth surface, that’s the reason why paper can be an ideal for gasket or sealing.  The paper is completely free of asbestos and is designed to be an economic replacement for asbestos paper in most applications.  The paper is easy to be handled and cut, its flexibility allows it to be wrapped or rolled for better storage.

Features :

1.Easily handled and engineered

2. Low thermal conductivity

3.Resistance to thermal shock and flame

4. Good resilience

5. Superior dielectric strength

Typical Application

1..Abestos paper replacement

2. Hot top lining

3.Investment cast mold wrap insulation

4. Back-up lining for metal troughs

5.One-time consumable insulating applications

6. Superior dielectric strengthCeramic Fiber Board

Classification of Temperature :   Temperature between 1000°C – 1600°C

3. Ceramic Fiber Textiles

Centralwool – ceramic fiber textiles contain the rope, tape, yarn and cloth.  these texiles are woven or braided from yarn consisting of refractory cermic fiber with approximately 20% organic fiber.  Inserted materials are reinforced into the yarn to increase the tensile strenght of fibers.  Stainless steel inserts are available for obtaining maximum strength at high temperatures. Glass filament inserts are used in applications where electrical resistance is required.  Cermic fiber textiles have been a workable insulation materials for thermal gasket and wrapping, its unique functions and features are gaining more popularity in the high temperature insulations.

Categories of Textiles:

1. Square braided rope

2. Round braided rope

3. Twisted rope

4. Tape

5. Cloth

6. Yarn

Features:

1. Low thermal conductivity and heat storage

2. Reduces fume emission around refracotry

3. Resistance to gas velocity

4. Excellent thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance

5. Easy to install

6. Adheres to most cermic and metallic surface

7. Inert to most chemicals

8. Abestos free

9. Impermeable to molten aluminum /  zinc / copper / lead.

Typical Applications :

1. Gasket and wrapping material

2. Cable and wire insulation

3. Welding curtains and blankets

4. Furnace curtains and heat zone separators

5. Fuel line insulation

6. Expansion joints

7. High temperature seals and packing in furnaces

8. Door seals for stoves and ovens

9. Thermally insulating pipe wrap

10.Kiln car seals.

Classification of Temperature :   Temperature between 1000°C – 1600°C

4. Ceramic Fiber Board

Centralwool – ceramic fiber board is manufactured and designed for the thermal applications requesting high demands on rigidity, the thermal insulation properties and abrasion resistance of ceramic fiber board have been further improved due to the higher density.  The board is a vacuum formed product that resists higher gas velocities than ceramic fiber blanket.  It is ideal for furnace, boiler duct and stack lining thanks to its low thermal conductivity and low heat storage, which makes the shorter cycle times and quicker access for maintenance in the industrial furnace possible

Features :

1.High rigidity, light  weight

2. Low thermal conductivity

3.Resistance to thermal shock, gas erosion

4. Resists penetration by molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals

5.Easy cutting, engineering, mechanical flexibility

Typical Application

1.Refractory lining for industrial furnaces

2. Combustion chamber liner, boiler, heaters

3.Back-up insulation for monolithic refractories

4. Transfer of non-ferrous metals

5.Expansion joint boards

6. Barrier against flame

Classification of Temperature :   Temperature between 1000°C – 1600°C

Calcium Silicate Board

Calcium Silicate Board is insulating board, which is recommended as a gernal purpose for backup applications.

Features :

1. Extremely lightweight

2. Easy to cut, handle and install

3. Low thermal conductivity

4. Low heat storage

Classification of Temperature :   Temperature between 650°C – 1100°C
